Welcome! I am Conor O’Brien, the 19th Baron Inchiquin and Chief of the O’Brien Clan.

A Legacy Woven in History
My story is deeply intertwined with the rich tapestry of Irish history. The O’Brien clan, of which I am proud to be the current leader, traces its lineage back to the legendary high king, Brian Boru. Though the ancestral seat of Dromoland Castle now serves as a renowned luxury hotel, I aim to return to County Clare, managing the family estate located adjacent to Dromoland Castle.

Education and Ascendancy to the Barony
Following my education in England, I assumed the title of Baron Inchiquin in 2023 upon the death of my cousin. While I value my privacy, I recognize the significance of this role and the responsibility it carries. As Baron, I serve as a prominent figure in Irish heritage and cultural preservation.

Beyond the Title: Leadership and Legacy
My responsibilities extend beyond the inherited title. Leading the O’Brien clan is a role I cherish, ensuring the continuation of our traditions for generations to come. The Barony of Inchiquin also presents an opportunity to serve as an ambassador for Irish history and culture, sharing its richness with the world.
